ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS: Logos for embroidery are not created in the same format as with printing. Unless you already have an embroidery stitch file to send to us, any artwork submitted needs to be in a .jpg format with a 300 dpi resolution. Embroidery files we are able to use are .dst, .exp, and .cnd (preferred).
LEAD TIME: We run on a 2 week lead time for completion of a order from the date the order is placed. The due date means the order will be completed by the end of that day, unless otherwise specified. Rush orders are only done if scheduling permits and a rush fee may be applied.
SETUP CHARGES: Setup or Digitizing Charge is based on the number of stitches in the logo, as well as the time involved creating the logo. Therefore, a quote will need to be provided for setup cost. If you are able to supply an actual embroidery stitch file (.dst, .exp, or .cnd format) then in most cases there will be no setup charge.
ITEM AND EMBROIDERY CHARGES: While we are able to embroider on most items, we do ask to see some products first to make sure it will fit on our embroidery hoops and machines. There are five major elements that determine the cost of any given job. Please call or email one of our customer service representatives for a full quote.
- Item color
- Type of item to be embellished (upcharges will apply to special size garments ordered, such as XXL, XXXL, Talls, etc.)
- Quantity of items to be embroidered w/ like design.
- Number of stitches per design
- Number of embroidery locations per design (left chest, right chest, back, sleeve, etc.)
Please note that team numbers and individual names (personalization) are considered separate print locations and have their own embroidery charge. While we are able to embroider on most items, we do ask to inspect some items first to make sure it will fit on our embroidery hoops and machines.

Please visit www.licensing.appstate.edu for specific information. A royalty rate of 8% (10% effective July 2009) may be charged for use of these marks.
